Pedal To Poland

Hi! My name is Chloe Sansom and I am a part of the 17th Perthshire Scouts (Aberfeldy). I have loved scouts every since I joined 3 years ago. I take every opportunity I get, when I heard about the World Scout Jamboree I immediately knew that I really wanted to go.

 

I then attended the selection camp for our region and found out in the 11th of October that I been chosen to represent the East region for the Scottish scouts at the 26th World Scout Jamboree in Poland that is taking place in the summer of 2027. This is an incredible opportunity to meet scouts from all over the world, learn new skills, and take part in a truly incredible and unforgettable experience.

To help me to get there, I'm going to be taking part in many fundraisers. My biggest one will be cycling the equivalent distance from Perthshire to the city of Gdansk in Poland. This is around 2,200km of cycling over the next 2 years. Through this challenge I will be tracking my progress, sharing updates and rase funds to cover the cost of attending the Jamboree.

This money will not just be going to me though. The main reason the my fee to go is so high is because a lot of this money goes to supporting people who live in less wealthy countries to give them the opportunity to go on this adventure as well. I'm really excited to work hard, have fun and make this journey possible - I'd love your support along the way to help make this possible.
